Pecan - Norbuck Park, Dallas

Norbuck Park was one of the many areas that was hit hard by the June 9, 2019 storm.

The Pecan tree I was able to salvage was incredibly wide and very dense - like most old-growth Pecans.

The section I targeted was an area that had 3 trunks growing out of it. There are many slabs I have that show these 3 trunks as they begin to grow out of the original trunk. The coloring and the ring patterns are quite exceptional.
